Wow can’t believe it has been more than two months since I have written my last blog. This reminds me how it can be easy to get off track but hard to get back on. There have been many examples of this that I have gone through, I have seen people go through, and I have examples from movies, too. My dad had been helping me continuously throughout this process of turning into a more mature, focused guy. It feels like I am a victim of the same, drifting. The symptoms are I will do it tomorrow, one more minute, I will do it later…
Well Spring is coming and time to let go of winter laziness and get into the zone. I am lucky to have a nagging father who has resurrected me from turning into a dead thakelo, pakelo admi into Anuj again. Over the past two months I was not on task and I was back to being addicted to YouTube, I kept making my school work and out of school projects go one for longer and longer. One example is how my uncle kept asking me to do some donation in India for more than half a year now. In simpler words, this is called procrastination. You might not remember this but back in June of 2018, I wrote a blog about a book called Elevate to Great, and in that book it said that procrastination was helpful. That statement is true, but it is not always proven correct. So basically, there are two types of procrastination. The first one is the one that my dad had to pull me out of, while the second one is good and helpful to people. The helpful one gives people a time to think and to wonder of all the new possibilities. The other one makes the person more lazy, irritated, and it hurts everyone around the person as well as the person himself. Well, the only thing that matters now is that I am focused and I have many goals to achieve in life, so I don’t want to fall in the hole of procrastination any more.
Well now, since I am in the zone I will start to post blogs regularly and I also have created a facebook, linkedin, and twitter account where I will be posting by blogs and I will also be posting inspirational memos, quotes, and videos. So please stay in touch and I always look forward to reading your comments.
